What's your day like?

As a Crane Operator at Kinsley Steel, you will play a critical role in loading and unloading crane equipment from trailers, overseeing crane setup and dismantling on-site, and conducting thorough equipment inspections to ensure safe operation. Your responsibilities will also include maintaining and cleaning crane mechanisms, monitoring and reporting maintenance hours, and ensuring compliance with DOT regulations and state laws. Upholding the highest safety standards and following proper work procedures diligently are essential.

Additionally, you will be involved in rigging activities, assisting with iron work/labor tasks for large structures, and may be required to fill in for truck driving duties if you hold a CDL License.

Would you be a great CRANE OPERATOR?

To excel in this role, candidates must possess a high school diploma or GED. While secondary education is valued and may impact pay scale, it is not mandatory. Relevant experience of two to four years is preferred but not strictly required.

Successful candidates must pass and maintain a DOT physical, exhibit punctuality, dependability, and teamwork, handle pressure effectively, and be willing to learn OSHA and MSHA safety regulations. The role demands multitasking, strong communication skills, availability for weekend work during client shutdowns, and the ability to work in varied outdoor conditions.
