Job SummaryThis position is eligible for a $3,000 bonus, subject to Loudoun County Policy.The CPS Program Supervisor will provide clinical and administrative supervision and professional leadership to a dynamic team responding to the needs of our most vulnerable children and families. The selected candidate will oversee cases involving protective services to children and families, assuring that complaints, investigations, and assessments are managed according to federal, state, and local policies, including completeness and timeliness. This position requires the individual to maintain a supportive work environment, with the ability to inspire and encourage productivity and teamwork amongst staff. Work is performed in a forward-thinking organization that requires sensitivity to change and responsiveness to changing goals, priorities, and needs.This position oversees the Child Protective Services (CPS) Investigations and Family Assessments (I&A) team that primarily works scheduled times during the day, evenings, overnight, weekends, and designated holidays as required. Core work hours are Monday-Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., including rotating on-call shifts to receive and validate referrals from 5 p.m. to 8:30 a.m. or respond to emergency family situations, as required.This team will consist of five (5) Family Services Specialists, one (1) CPS Case Aide, and one (1) Senior Family Services Specialist.The successful candidate will:
Bachelor's degree required, with major coursework in a Human Services field preferred; AND, four (4) years of directly related experience in a human services area to include one (1) year of supervisory experience.
Preferred Qualifications:Master's degree in Social Work, Sociology, Psychology, or a related field; clinical licensureBi-lingual English and Spanish speaking abilities.Job Contingencies and Special Requirements
