County Executive Assistant V

The Suffolk County Executive's Office is seeking a County Executive Assistant V. Key elements of the role include:

Program assessment, planning and data driven program development to meet the needs of vulnerable and underserved communities (the elderly, veterans, youth, people with disabilities, minoritized community members and women in need of services).

Developing and maintaining program budgets, and supervision of Human Services Division staff.

Reviewing, updating, and/or initiating policy and procedure manuals for program continuity.

Determining emergent needs for special projects to better serve vulnerable populations such as the elderly, veterans, the disabled and children.

Administration of human services programs in accordance with NYS laws and regulations.

Performing computer analysis for compliance and documentation of program outcomes.

Understanding of applied behavior analysis and positive behavioral support for program participants and others as required.

Comprehensive knowledge base for computers (i.e. Excel; PowerPoint & Proficiency in Word Documents.)

Salary Range: $88,035-$130,761

This position does not offer relocation assistance at this time.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Masters Degree in Counseling & Doctorate in Philosophy/Psychology.
  • Certification in Cognitive Behavior Life Coaching
