In this essential position, you will play a crucial role in developing and overseeing a cost control system to empower our team's decisions, ensuring successful project completion within the approved budget. Your expertise will be vital in identifying any budget deviations, evaluating their impacts, and monitoring the effectiveness of corrective actions taken. This position requires a commitment of 6 days per week, typically from Monday to Saturday.

Responsibilities:

  • Ensure adherence to the project plan.
  • Assist with measuring earned value progress.
  • Monitor project cost estimates, expenditures, forecasts, and conduct trend analysis.
  • Maintain accurate cost data, identify deficiencies, and propose corrective actions.
  • Attend and contribute to various project meetings.
  • Collaborate with team members across the organization regarding project cost analysis.
  • Manage changes in project scope, foresee potential crises, and develop contingency plans that align with company contractual obligations.
  • Coordinate with on-site teams to validate progress data accuracy.
  • Support the Project Controls Manager with cost report preparation, MPSR reports, and Procore changes management.

Qualifications:

  • Experience:
    • Minimum of 2 years in a project cost control role.
    • A relevant bachelor's degree or equivalent education and experience combination will be considered.
  • Skills:
    • Strong financial acumen.
    • Ability to grasp project deadlines effectively.
    • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making capabilities.
    • Team-oriented mindset with a collaborative approach.
    • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
    • Highly organized with meticulous attention to detail.
    • Proficient in fostering strong professional relationships.
  • Technology:
    • Proficient in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook.
    • Familiarity with industry software such as Bluebeam and Procore.
    • Willingness to learn job-specific software as required.
