Cost and Revenue Accountant II - Arkansas Childrens : Job Details

Monday - Friday, Day Shift Hybrid (Training will be onsite)

This position is responsible for conducting intermediate cost analysis and reporting. Ensures cost data is correct and maintained within cost system. Conducts analysis on detailed revenue information reconciling variations. Creates revenue forecasts and ensures proper revenue recognition.

Bachelor's Degree

Accounting - 2 years of experience

1. Collaborates with clinical staff to accurately assess clinical procedures and develop standard cost.

2. Uses knowledge of various intermediate cost accounting methodologies and ability to assess which method is applicable.

3. Uses knowledge of overhead allocation methodologies and process of assigning indirect cost to clinical procedures.

4. Conducts analysis of various systems that integrate data into the Strata (cost) system; reconciliation and troubleshooting with vendor.

5. Conducts analysis of monthly and YTD revenue for variance and forecasting.

6. Uses knowledge of market data related to procedure charges and perform analysis on pricing.

7. Conducts patient estimates for compliance with price transparency.

8. Assists with the annual revenue budget and analysis.

9. Responsible for revenue data integrity from order to patient account.

10. Responsible for the hospitals accurate CDM (Charge Description Master) required for billing.

11. Performs other duties as assigned.
