Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a closely related discipline.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in cost accounting or operations finance, with preference for candidates with leadership roles in large organizations or public accounting.
  • Proficiency with ERP systems and a strong background in manufacturing or inventory-intensive environments.
  • Exceptional analytical skills, effective communication abilities, and a proactive, solution-oriented approach.
  • Ability to thrive in a collaborative, fast-paced setting with a focus on cross-functional partnership.
Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee and refine cost accounting processes, from raw material procurement to finished product valuation, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
  • Drive the implementation and enhancement of enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems, establishing robust frameworks for inventory and cost management.
  • Collaborate with supply chain and production teams to ensure precise cost data and informed strategic decision-making.
  • Lead standard costing analyses, evaluate gross margins, and support financial readiness for new product introductions.
  • Develop and maintain performance dashboards, financial reports, and metrics to monitor and enhance operational outcomes.
  • Contribute to monthly financial close processes, including purchase price variance (PPV) analysis, productivity assessments, and inventory projections.
  • Identify and implement cost optimization strategies to improve operational effectiveness and profitability.
  • Mentor junior team members, fostering professional development while actively pursuing opportunities to expand personal expertise.
