The Division of Developmental Disabilities is seeking to hire a Cosmetologist for the Shapiro Center located in Kankakee, Illinois to provide beauty care for individuals residing at Shapiro Center. Performs facials and manicures on individuals. Maintains the beauty shop in sanitary condition. Confers with individuals' interdisciplinary treatment teams regarding individuals' skills/behaviors that necessitate specialized hair styles. Transports individuals to and from beauty shop or visits individuals in cottage if condition necessitates. Observes individual's behavior and reports observations to interdisciplinary team.
