**Job Title: Correctional Health • Registered Nurse • Days****Location:** Downey, CA**Job Description:**Seeking a Registered Nurse for a correctional health setting to provide vital care in a secure environment. Ideal candidates have psychiatric inpatient and correctional health experience.**Key Responsibilities:**• Administer medications and perform blood draws.• Work every other weekend.• Ensure patient care complies with CA State Law.• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team.**Requirements:**• Active CA RN License.• BLS, Fire Card, and MAB/CPI certifications.• Two years of psychiatric inpatient experience.• Experience in secured environments preferred.• COVID vaccination and booster required.**Contract Details:**• 13•week contract, 40 hours/week.• Day shift: 0600•1430.• Up to 3 days RTO.• No on•call duties.**Preferred Qualifications:**• Correctional health or psychiatric experience.• Travel experience is a plus.**Additional Information:**• Scrub Color: Any, Navy Blue or Black preferred.• PPE provided.• On•site parking.• EMR: CernerThis role offers a chance to impact lives in a challenging environment.
