Responsibilities

Purpose: Process and book travel requests for global travel, including a high volume of corporate airline, hotel, and transportation transactions. Assist and problem-solve for corporate travelers. Manage reservations, extensions, travel changes, and ticket refunds. Skills require proficiency with Sabre, superior customer service, and the willingness to work a flexible schedule. Work at our office in Winchester, VA.

Responsible for:

  • Telephoning hotels and motels to substantiate monthly cost allocations. Request customer folios (receipts) to be matched against invoices and employee names for accuracy.
  • Preparing and providing travel input to statistical reports for all travel performed by each company, division, and department of MCD.
  • Performing daily data entry to all department reports systems, including statistical compilation.
  • Gathering information and following procedures for booking all travel disciplines utilizing proprietary software.
  • Assisting in personal travel arrangements for employees of MCD.
  • Compiling and reporting statistical data for all travel disciplines.
  • This position will require you to have a rotating schedule.
  • Qualifications

    Education:

    6+ years of experience with a high school diploma.

    0+ years of experience with a Bachelor's degree.

    Abilities:

  • Exposure to computer screens for extended periods.
  • Sitting for extended periods.
  • Reaching by extending hands or arms in any direction.
  • Finger dexterity to manipulate objects, such as using a keyboard.
  • Listening to and understanding spoken information and ideas.
  • Communicating information clearly in speech.
  • Reading and understanding written information and ideas.
  • Applying general rules to specific problems to produce logical answers.
  • Identifying and understanding others' speech.
