Corporate Tax Intern - Summer 2026 - Illinois Tool Works : Job Details

Full-time work schedule (minimum of 40 hours / week)Position is in-person at ITWs corporate campus in Glenview, Illinois. Work within a cross-functional tax department, with a core focus on either Domestic or International Tax compliance. Assignments will include working on analysis, preparing federal forms 1120, 8858, 5471 and various state income tax returns. Support the state team in the estimated tax payment process by preparing calculations and related payment requisition forms. Assist with special projects, including tax planning transactions Qualifications. Pursuing a bachelor's or masters degree in accounting, finance or tax. Demonstrated academic success. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Ability to multi-task and prioritize. Strong organizational skills. Ability to analyze and manage complex information and data. Attention to detail and self-review. Work independently and in a team. Computer proficiency with MS Office.
