TThe Corporate Responsibility (CR) department mission is to advance a stronger, more durable and safe financial system and an inclusive economy and society for clients, customers and communities around the world. The department includes sub-departments focused on policy advocacy and lobbying, philanthropy, sustainability, impact finance, community engagement and data analysis and research. CR Strategy works with the CR management team, JPMorgan Chase's Operating Committee members and other senior leaders to address the most critical initiatives of the firm, bringing thought leadership and advisory support through project-based work. Projects are team-based and include heavy interaction and collaboration with senior executives across CR and the Firm. Our team of 10 professionals primarily come from top strategy consulting firms and internal JPMorgan Chase groups. Position overviewAs an Executive Director, you will lead project teams in solving complex issues and identifying opportunities that are most important to CR and the Firm. The role reports to the Chief Operating Officer and Head of Strategy for Corporate Responsibility who reports to the Head of Corporate Responsibility. Responsibilities Define and deconstruct problems; synthesize data and develop recommendations Leverage quantitative and qualitative analytical problem solving approaches Apply strong business judgment to surface implications and practical, high impact options Perform competitor/industry research, leveraging public and non-public sources Influence the agendas of CR senior management and partners across lines of business and Corporate functions Develop a comprehensive answer on strategic topics, ensuring people strategy is folded into that perspective, and present findings to senior managementSample projects: Develop innovative strategies (e.g., policy or philanthropy initiatives, political engagement strategy) Advise on line of business (LOB) product enhancements Enhance CR operating modelsRequired qualifications, capabilities, and skills 10+ years of relevant experience in management consulting and/or internal consulting functions, in addition to 1+ year of relevant Executive Director level experience An outstanding ability to define and deconstruct problems Experience leveraging quantitative and qualitative analytical problem solving approaches Experience creating concise communication materials and presenting findings to senior management Experience with people managementPreferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills Interpersonal leadership and influencing skills - ability to lead projects, interact with colleagues at all levels, prioritize issues and manage team capacity Experience with cross-functional collaboration, including influencing stakeholders Financial services industry experience
