The OpportunityThe Corporate Partnerships Manager plays a pivotal role in expanding the field for GLAAD's fundraising initiatives through cultivating and nurturing strategic partnerships. Reporting to the VP of Corporate Partnerships and collaborating closely with the Head of Corporate Partnerships, this position is responsible for maintaining strong relationships with existing corporate partners through regular communication and engagement, identifying and maintaining a robust and realistic pipeline of prospects for the entire team, maintaining updated records in our CRM tools and regularly reviewing the pipeline for accuracy and benchmarking it against fundraising goals. The Corporate Partnerships Manager will also work closely with the rest of the team, along with our colleagues in Programmatic areas and our marketing resources, to maintain, expand, and refine pitch books, proposals, and pricing and benefits throughout the GLAAD calendar year.Candidate Profile | Competencies | Personal QualitiesData & Reporting
- Maintain Salesforce records for all existing and prospective corporate partners.
- Daily reconciliation of verbal commitments and conversions to pledges.
- Develop Salesforce-based reporting for the Partnerships leadership team focused on pipeline updates by opportunity (Prides, Events, GMI).
- Prepare a weekly flash report for the leadership team, specifically the Chief Development Officer, Chief of Staff, and President and CEO, illustrating revenue toward budget progress, week-over-week changes, and a table of opportunities ranked by probability to help drive clear, accurate, and single-source financial reporting to support forecasting.
- Work closely with Development Operations to maintain the integrity of all reporting.
Pitch Decks & Sales Collateral
- Organize and archive all materials the Partnerships team utilizes to pitch event sponsorship or programmatic opportunities (GMI, Research) in a single source location and work closely with the Head and VP of Partnerships to regularly refresh and update design templates and assure uniformity.
- Prepare individual pitch decks for the team to be distributed in sales meetings or to be distributed by email to prospective partners.
- Prepare individual proposal decks for partners.
- Prepare SOWs post-close, papering the agreement and legal language.
- Track outreach and set a schedule for the Partnerships team to identify moments for follow-up.
Prospecting & Partner Relationship Cultivation
- This is a key element of the role of each member of the Partnerships team.
- The Manager will be responsible for researching and identifying prospects, developing contacts, and/or working closely with the Head and VP of Corporate Partnerships to engage prospects, including, but not limited to, pitching opportunities and, through relationship management efforts, strategically extending invites to regular Corporate Briefings and GLAAD events where appropriate.
Revenue
- The role will include driving revenue through an agreed-upon framework developed closely with the SVP and VP of Corporate Partnerships.
Book of Business
- Develop a book of business based on assignments and individual outreach.
Skills & Requirements
- 3-5 years of professional experience in sales and revenue-generating or revenue-supporting roles.
- Salesforce knowledge is a plus.
- Strong communication skills (written, verbal) with a focus on relationship building and stewardship of corporate partners.
- Collaborative approach to navigating external relationships where there are multiple touchpoints within GLAAD.

Compensation A competitive salary commensurate with experience is $65,000-$78,000. Benefits include 403(b) retirement plan participation; escalating vacation beginning with 19 days plus holidays; and organization-paid health benefits, including medical, dental, vision, healthcare, and dependent options; flex spending accounts; and life and long-term disability insurance.
