Job Description :
Consults with HR Services as requested on labor and employment matters relating to recruiting, labor relations, performance management, leaves of absence, accommodations, background checks, discipline, terminations, wage and hour, pay equity, and compensation. Collaborates with HR Services to ensure federal, state, and local compliance in US employment law by developing and maintaining policies that reflect both legal requirements and industry best practices. Assist HR Services to perform analysis of labor and employment matters and then deliver recommendations. Manages disputes through negotiation, mediation, and legal documentation such as demand letters, settlement agreements, and position statements. Manages employment-related litigation activities, including overseeing outside counsel, managing budgets, coordinating investigations, and facilitating the discovery process.
