A well-regarded San Francisco-based law firm is seeking a corporate associate with 2–5 years of strong experience in corporate transactions, M&A, and securities work.

The group advises clients across a broad range of corporate matters, including mergers and acquisitions, private fund formation, emerging company representation, securities compliance, IP-related transactions, corporate governance, and general business counseling.

The incoming associate will be part of an incredibly collegial group that is highly protective of its supportive and collaborative culture. Each Associate is seen as a future Partner, leading to strong mentor relationships and an extremely high retention rate. The firm is composed largely of former BigLaw attorneys seeking more work/life balance while still enjoying competitive compensation.

Qualifications:

• 2–5 years of relevant law firm experience
• J.D. from an ABA-accredited law school
• Background in M&A, corporate governance, and securities law
• Strong academic credentials and excellent drafting skills
• Active and in good standing with the California State Bar (or ability to become admitted)
