Location: Boston, MA – Hybrid scheduleCompensation: $24/hr + OTType: Temp to PermAbout The FirmA well-established financial services firm in Boston, MA, is seeking a Corporate Actions Specialist to join their team. With a focus on delivering exceptional client service, the firm supports a wide range of financial operations, offering a dynamic environment for professionals passionate about accuracy and efficiency.Role OverviewJoin a collaborative team as a Corporate Actions Specialist, focusing on daily deliverables, process execution, and client communication. This role involves handling corporate actions, reconciling positions, and ensuring accurate client outcomes, with work thoroughly reviewed by senior team members. Busy season (April–June) may require up to 55–60 hours per week.Key Responsibilities

• Review and scrub announcements from market data vendors, company information, depositories, and agents.
• Input and process income and mandatory actions into the corporate actions platform.
• Identify complex events and collaborate with team members to resolve them.
• Process class action suits and client instructions through manual entry.
• Communicate uninstructed positions to clients daily via phone and written correspondence.
• Reconcile positions, receivables, and payables to ensure accurate client cash projections.
• Process payments and client account profile requests within the corporate actions platform.
• Participate in client presentations or calls, ensuring superior client service.
• Identify and resolve issues in a timely, professional manner, escalating as needed.

Qualifications

• BA/BS degree or equivalent work experience.
• Demonstrated PC skills and ability to process transactions accurately.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills for professional client interactions.
• Excellent time management, organizational skills, and attention to detail.
• Ability to multitask and work effectively in a team environment.
• Problem-solving skills with the ability to escalate and resolve issues efficiently.
