Corporate Accounts Payable Assistant POSITION SUMMARY The primary responsibilities are to assist the Corporate Financial Director in Accounts Payable processing and various General Ledger functions. ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES Assists the Financial Director in Accounts Payable Processing and General Ledger Functions as Needed
- Accurately inputs invoices into the Accounts Payable System.
- Properly prepares daily deposits, as needed.
- Accurately and in a timely manner processes checks, as needed.
- Responds to vendor's requests and concerns in a cheerful and expedient fashion, as needed.
- Accurately maintains several Accounts Payable and General Ledger spreadsheets and data base files.
- Accurately reconciles bank statements, payroll, and trust.
- Accurately enters work comp information.
- Maintains detailed records for year-end audit.
Promotes and Establishes Healthy Relationships and Uses Professional Conduct with Other Healthcare Professionals, Residents, Families, Visitors, and Co-workers.
- Arrives at work area on time and ready to begin work. Is able to prioritize and be organized and efficient when interacting and communicating.
- Follows policy on absenteeism, tardiness, and call-ins as outlined in Personnel Policy Manual.
- Is courteous and cooperative with residents, families, visitors, supervisors, and coworkers.
- Follows dress code, and limits personal phone calls.
- Abides by and promotes the Continuous Quality Improvement Program of Monarch Healthcare Management.
- Promotes a positive and professional image both in the office and in the community.
- Assists with receptionist duties, as needed.
Maintains Current Levels of Education and Facilitate the Implementation of New Policies and Procedures of Monarch Healthcare Management
- Attends continuing education/in-services pertinent to your department and designated by ADON. •Attends educational programs on Continuous Quality Improvement, customer satisfaction and other such programs. Further completes audits as designated.
- Participates in inspections and audits as designated.
- Maintains and applies knowledge of current policies and procedures as it relates to your job responsibilities.
- Identifies areas of problem/needs through surveys and communicates these at QA&A Committee meetings.
- Is knowledgeable of and abides by the importance of the Residents' Bill of Rights.
QUALIFICATIONS Required Skills and Abilities
- Must possess some knowledge of accounting principles.
- Must be familiar with office equipment and be proficient in computer skills.
- Must have excellent communication skills.
- Must be able to perform essential functions of the position with or without reasonable accommodation.
- Must qualify for employment, after criminal background check, per guidelines of the Minnesota Department of Human Services.
