Job Reference Number: 31459Employment Type: Full-Time, OnsiteSegment: Elior CorporateBrand: Elior North America CorporateState: Texas (US-TX)The Role at a glance:We are looking for an accomplished and self-motivated Manager of Accounting to work in a remote capacity, supporting the Elior's Shared Service Center. This particular role will be best served by someone with vast experience in Account Management (Accounting emphasis). This position provides an opportunity to enhance the performance of a team that supports our strategic partners in the Business.What you'll be doing:

• Obtain and maintain a thorough understanding of the (emphasis in accounting) and financial reporting structure and systems
• Ensure the timely reporting of all financial information, including review and approval of journal entries and account reconciliations on a monthly, quarterly and year end basis.
• Collaborate with other Finance and Accounting and Company-wide managers to support the overall department and Company goals and objectives
• Advises staff regarding handling of non-routine reporting transactions
• Maintain or develop user procedures, guidelines, and documentation
• Support internal and external audits and provide training to new and existing staff as needed
• Ensure accounting related transactions are in compliance with Company policies
• Work with each direct report to establish goals and objectives for each year and monitor and advise on the progress to enhance the professional development of the staff

What we're looking for:Must-haves:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or Business Administration
• 6+ years of progressive accounting experience
• 3+ years of leadership experience
• Must be detail-oriented and able to meet deadlines
• Advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUP's, pivot tables, power pivots)

Nice-to-haves:

• Experience with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
• Experience with Microsoft Great Plains or other large ERP systems
• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation
