Woodruff Arts Center employees play an integral role in creating and supporting great art and education initiatives at the nation's third largest arts center. Comprised of three Art Partners-Alliance Theatre, Atlanta Symphony Orchestra and High Museum of Art-there's a role for everyone at The Woodruff.Reports to:Associate Director, MembershipFLSA:United States of America (Exempt)Employment Status:Regular/Full timeThe Membership Coordinator contributes to the success of the High's 40,000 household membership program that generates $3.44M revenue through membership dues. This position provides essential support for members-only events, member communications, and membership campaigns. This position will supervise a student-intern (when applicable). • 30% Members-only Events & Tours• 30% Member Communications• 30% Campaign Support• 10% MiscellaneousWork ScheduleMonday - Friday, 9am - 5pm (occasional nights and weekends required for special events)ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESMembers-only Events & Tours
  • Assist with planning and execution of events that connect members with the Museum, including exhibition previews, docent-led tours, and member appreciation events
  • Assist the Assistant Manager, Member Experience with the management of the museum's Young Professionals Membership Program:
    • Help plan a full yearly calendar of events for YP Members
    • Write and send stewardship emails
    • Create strategies to increase the number of Young Professional Members
Member Communications
  • Assist Assistant Manager, Member Experience in revising membership content in print and online regarding campaigns, membership events, and membership benefits.
  • Write copy, create, and send membership emails using Prospect2, including:
    • Event invitations and Know Before You Go reminders
    • Monthly Member Newsletters
    • Premium Pickup Reminders
    • Acknowledgment emails
    • Membership stewardship emails
    • Monthly renewal emails
    • Acquisitions emails
    • Gift membership emails
  • Manage all membership email calendaring in collaboration with the museum's marketing department
Campaign Support
  • Serve as lead on membership renewal Campaigns: work with Associate Director of Membership and outsourced consultant to create monthly renewal campaigns; oversee creation and distribution of emails; collaborate with Database Manager and Manager Membership, Operations on list creation, tracking, and reporting; test new methods to increase donations
  • Assist the Associate Director of Membership and Assistant Manager, Member Experience with the execution of revenue-generating campaign emails
  • Assist Manager, Membership Operations with Matching Gifts program, including promotion, processing, acknowledgements, and tracking
  • Assist Assistant Manager, Member Experience with High Impact Fund campaign emails and mailed campaigns
Miscellaneous
  • Assist with answering members' questions via phone and email (as needed)
  • Other duties as assigned by the Assistant Manager, Member Experience
QUALIFICATIONSEducation and Experience
  • Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university
  • 1 - 3 years of experience working in a museum or non-profit organization
  • Experience in membership or development preferred
Skills and Abilities
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • Ability to succeed in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • Experience with email marketing platforms (Wordfly, Prospect2, MailChimp, Constant Contact, etc.) preferred
  • CRM database experience a plus (Tessitura preferred)
