Coordinator -Henry Ford Cancer Institute Paitent Resources & Education - 40 Hours - Days - The Henry Ford Health System : Job Details

Under the supervision of supportive oncology leadership:The coordinator will connect oncology patients, family members, caregivers, and the community at large to resources within and outside Henry Ford Health that will support them through their cancer treatment and beyond. EDUCATION REQUIRED:Associate's degree or two (2) years of college required. Three (3) years of related work experience. EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:Health care experience preferred. Strong computer skills, including Microsoft office suite, and social media knowledge required. Interpersonal skills to deal effectively both over the telephone, email and in-person with patients, visitors, medical staff, and other clinic and/or hospital personnel. Previous healthcare experience preferred. Previous concierge or hospitality experience preferred. Abiity to demonstrate creativity and innovative thinking. Knowledge of medical terminology preferred.
