Satellite Bch Job Number: 000230 School Year: 2026 FY Position: COORDINATOR-BREVARD AFTER SCH Subtitle/Areas: BEGINNING SALARY Based on classification and pay plan for Non-bargaining employees: Grade 09 $17.55 per hour Apply By: 08/23/2025 Date Available: 07/14/2025 Status: All Applicants Contract: 10 Month Hours/Day: 8.000 Qualifications/Certifications: SCOPE: Provide the leadership, development, and supervision necessary for a financially stable and successful childcare program EDUCATION AND RELEVANT EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS: REQUIRED: • High school diploma or equivalent. • Two years (2) successful experience in childcare or similar program. • Minimum of three (3) years• experience using common computer software applications (Microsoft Office Suite or similar); experience using basic bookkeeping principles and standard business functions or equivalent combination of training and/or experience. PREFERRED/DESIRED: • Bachelor•s degree from an accredited educational institution in Early Childhood, Elementary Education, or a related field preferred. CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSES/TRAINING: REQUIRED: • Department of Children and Families Standards for Quality Afterschool Programs (SQAP-8 hours online as in-service) and Quality Self-Assessment and Improvement for Afterschool Programs (QSAI-4- hours online as in-service) or equivalent DCF-AMAP Course Achieving and Maintaining Quality Afterschool Programs-12 hours; and School Age Certification/ BAS Academy Levels I, II, and III (72 hours online) complete within 90 days of appointment. • Preference may be given to candidates holding CDA (Child Development Associate) Certification or Vocational Child Care Training degree. • American Red Cross or American Heart Association First Aid/CPR/AED certification. • Valid State Driver•s License.
