Job Summary:
Marist University invites applications for the position of Coordinator of Academic Advising. Reporting to the Executive Director, Academic Advising, this individual will coordinate a coherent academic advising program for the undergraduate student population.
The role of Coordinator of Academic Advising in the Center for Advising and Academic Services will assist in advising students in individual and group settings, communication about advising directly with students and advisors, coordinating a curriculum around advising to increase knowledge and skill base, liaising with the School-Based Advising Centers, and administering a series of new, intervention-based practices designed to promote student retention and persistence.
