Coordinate Measuring Machine Programmer - Adecco : Job Details

We are recruiting for a CMM Programmer to perform visual and dimensional inspection of castings to verify conformance to blueprint, or electronic file requirements.

Specifically, this position will:

• Interpret geometrically dimensioned and tolerance engineering drawings.
• Perform First Article Inspection Reports using AS9102 Forms as required.
• Work from and with dimensional inspection measurement equipment such as surface plate, sine plates, height gages, radii gages, calipers, micrometers and other assorted hand measurement equipment.

Candidates should possess:

• Experience: Utilization of both CMM and hand equipment to perform dimensional inspection techniques.
• Certifications/Licenses: AFS Laboratory Certification Preferred.
• Computer Skills: Virtual Dimensional Measuring Interface Specification (DMIS) 6.0, Virtual DMIS, Routine CMM Operation, Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerance,
• Expert PC-DMIS Knowledge required.
• Polyworks And Bluelight scanning a plus.
• Software experience; Excel, Word, Power Point, etc.
• Ability to read blue prints in order to determine and measure features and tolerances.
• Ability to interpret reduced dimension drawings
• Ability to program using electronic model
• Surface Plate Inspection using Standard Inspection Tools
• Knowledge of Aerospace Standard (AS) 9100 requirements
• Bilingual – English/Spanish a Plus

Employer offers: Salary range for this position is $95k-$115k plus full benefits including health, life, dental and vision insurance + 401k Match and quarterly bonus. Relocation assistance available.
