The Obstetrics & Gynecology Research Division is in need of a 1.0 FTE Research Coordinator position. The Research Coordinator position will exist in order to support funded research projects within the department of Ob/Gyn. This position will assist in the coordination and administration of daily research activities and ensure that study protocols and regulatory requirements are compliant. This position will be involved in the recruitment and coordination of research subjects for multiple research grants, primarily in Maternal Fetal Medicine and will serve as the lead coordinator for these projects. This person will assist in managing Human Research Protection Office (HRPO) study submissions and modifications and serve as a liaison with the HRPO staff. The Research Coordinator will maintain recordkeeping systems, patient schedules and appointments and be involved in data collection and management.
This position requires strong interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to work effectively with a wide range of organizations in a diverse community. It will require, skills in organizing resources, multi-tasking and establishing priorities. It will require the ability to analyze, develop, establish and maintain efficient office work flow and administrative processes.

Conditions of EmploymentBachelor's degree; at least 1 year of experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified.
Completed degree(s) from an accredited institution that are above the minimum education requirement may be substituted for experience on a year for year basis.
