Job Description :
The cook prepares food items as assigned using standardized recipes to meet establisthed standards of high quality. Position Details: 0.7 FTE (56 hours per pay period) Day shift Every other weekend Week 1: Mon, Tues 6 am-2:30 pm, Sat, Sun 6 am-2:30 pm Week 2: Wed, Thurs, Fri 6 am-2:30 pm Job Responsibilities: Food Preparation Prepares food products to meet temperature and quality standards. Follows standardized recipes weighing and measuring ingredients to assure products are consistent in quality and nutritional value. Uses correct portioning utensils. Assemble food within appropriate time frames. Prepares bakery items per standardized recipes. Develops and tests recipes as directed. Completes all documentation related to production Handle and prepare food in safe manner following HACCP standardized operating procedures Takes and documents temperatures of food items and makes appropriate adjustments to achieve standards.
