We invite you to Walk-In on Wednesdays - A hiring event in Axtell. We are accepting walk-ins to apply, chat about our current openings, and we will be making offers to qualifying candidates!

Date: Every Wednesday from 8am-4pm.

Address: 1044 23rd Rd Axtell, NE 68924. Please go to the KIDRON Building, located east of the water tower on the north side of the campus.

We're looking for a Cook to join our team!

As a Cook with Mosaic, you'll be responsible for preparing food items according to a scheduled menu while maintaining a clean and sanitary environment.

What you'll do:

  • Prepare and serve meals to meet nutritional needs of individuals served

  • Monitor and record food temperatures to ensure food is maintained and served at safe temperatures

  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment by implementing cleaning schedules and procedures

  • Monitor applicable dietary restrictions and changes to ensure accuracy of meal being served

  • Maintain safe and efficient operation of all equipment

Requirements

Ideally, you should have:

  • A passion to help others

  • Six months experience in quantity food preparation

  • HS Diploma or equivalent

  • Ability to adapt and be agile as needed in a fast-paced environment

  • Excellent time management skills and the ability to juggle multiple responsibilities while communicating honestly about any challenges or questions.

  • CPR Certification or willingness to obtain if hired
