Primary Responsibilities:
- Provides support for the dietary department by cooking and serving daily meals to the clients.
- Ensures the meals served are in compliance with regulatory and licensing requirements.
- Prepares meals in accordance with established menus.
- Maintains the kitchen, dining room, and other food storage and food preparing in sanitary condition.

Hiring Requirements:
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- 20 hours of instruction in food safety and sanitation.
- Non-communicable diseases physical exam.
- At least twenty-one (21) years of age.
- Ability to work overtime as required.
- Satisfactory completion of background screening and applicable pre-employment checks; including but not limited to employment and/or personal reference and driving records.
- Ability to work with computers and the necessary software typically used by the department.
Other Qualifications:
- At least twenty-one (21) years of age.
- Must pass Criminal clearances, including Child Abuse Registry. (Act 33 and 34, specific State & child clearances and, if necessary, FBI).
- Must pass both federal and state background checks which screen for crimes including, but not limited to drug related crimes, violent crimes, sexual abuse, domestic violence, child abuse, and repeated misdemeanors.
- Physical exam for Non-communicable diseases, Drug Screening and TB testing.
