Knowledge of: food preparation techniques. Skill in: interacting effectively with co-workers, parents, and children; use of kitchen equipment. Ability to: read recipes, memos, special diet information, use scales, adjust recipes, read policy books, and time sheets; complete meal count sheets and work orders; count meals. Requires certification in first aid and CPR, current food handlers certification, record of TB test within past year. Preferred Qualifications CACFP experience and current Certified Food Manager Certification Job Description Assist in the food service program for the Child Development Center through food preparation service and clean-up of the kitchen and dining room. Job Duties Wash, measure, and prepare food according to Certified Food Manager and CACFP standards. Assist with meal set-up, serve meals, and clean up kitchen by sweeping and mopping floors.
