• Collaborate with the kitchen team to develop and execute menu items.
• Manage kitchen operations efficiently, including inventory and ordering.

• Proven experience as a cook in a high-volume or fine dining environment.
• Advanced culinary skills with a strong understanding of various cooking techniques.
• Ability to work well under pressure and in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Strong communication skills and a team-oriented attitude.
• Must have precise knife skills including some butchering skills with fish and steaks.
• Must know temperatures for meat, fish and steaks and be able to produce a properly cooked product, at all times, especially during very busy peak periods. • Must master all of The Lodge's cooking stations: pantry, broiler, sauté, fryer, griddle.

These skills and abilities are typically acquired through the completion of a one year certificate from a college or technical school and one to two years related experience and/or training in the food and beverage industry and/or equivalent combination of formal training, education and experience which demonstrates the ability to perform all of the duties of the position.
