Cook - 2nd Shift - General Atomics : Job Details

Prepares food according to prescribed menus and recipes. Conducts taste and temperature tests for each meal. Performs quality control, checking all fresh and prepared foods and storage methods. Cleans and sanitizes all food areas and preparation equipment and ensures that it is kept in safe and operable condition. May assist in developing new recipes and methods of preparation. Prepares food for delivery to other areas of the campus. May open and close cafeteria according to department procedures. Responsible for observing all laws, regulations and other applicable obligations wherever and whenever business is conducted on behalf of the Company. Expected to work in a safe manner in accordance with established operating procedures and practices. Additional Functions Other duties as assigned or required.
