We are looking for a skilled and meticulous Controls Technician to become a part of our team. The successful candidate will be tasked with installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting control systems and equipment. This role demands a robust understanding of electrical and mechanical systems, including the ability to modify, upgrade, and perform new installations. The candidate must be capable of working independently as well as collaboratively within a team. Key Responsibilities:

• Install, calibrate, and maintain control systems and equipment.
• Troubleshoot and repair electrical, mechanical and plumbing issues.
• Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on control systems.
• Collaborate with engineers and other technicians to ensure optimal system performance.
• Document and report all maintenance and repair activities.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards.

Qualifications:

• Associate degree or technical certification in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Controls Technician or similar role.
• Strong knowledge of control systems, PLCs, VFD's. relay logic and automation equipment.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings and schematics.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with specific control systems or equipment used in electrically driven centrifugal pumps.
• Familiarity with pump service industry-specific software and tools.
• Additional certifications or training in control systems and automation.

• Ability to work in various environments, including industrial settings.
• Physical ability to lift and move heavy equipment.
• Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends and overtime as needed.
