They are eager to welcome a Controls Technician to their dynamic team. This Controls Technician will be responsible for component/system verification, documentation, troubleshooting, and testing. Check out more great details below! Job Title: Controls Technician(Direct Hire) Job Type: Full Time / Direct Hire / Location: Syracuse, NY Shift: 1st Shift: 8:00am-5:00pm Monday-Friday Pay: $30/hour

Essential tasks for this Controls Technician include:

• Commissioning/troubleshooting industrial control systems
• Checking point to point connections, testing and verifying components
• Equipment start-up, reviewing/resolving any error messages

We're looking for a Controls Technician with the following background profile/skills:

• Trade school completion and/or Associate's Degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent years of experience, highly desired
• 2-3 years of experience in a similar role
• Familiarity with various PLC platforms
• Ability to read electrical schematics and comfortable with high voltage 3-phase power
• Knowledge of assembly/wiring of control panels, installation and electrical power distribution equipment, motors/drives and their control systems, relays, metering units, VFD's, transformers, chart recorders and various other electrical equipment.
• Pneumatic and Hydraulic knowledge is a plus
