Our client, a leader in the controls systems industry, is seeking a Controls Systems Technician (Non-Licensed) to join their team. As a Controls Systems Technician, you will be part of the technical support team, ensuring the seamless operation of HVAC systems. The ideal candidate will have a demonstrated technical aptitude, good communication skills, and a strong attention to detail, which will align successfully within the organization.

Job Title: Controls Systems Technician (Non-Licensed)

Location: Norfolk, VA

Pay Range: Competitive

What's the Job?

• Perform assigned system commissioning using client configuration and commissioning tools.

• Troubleshoot and resolve basic HVAC mechanical, electrical, and controls problems.

• Respond to basic warranty calls.

• Load system-level controller software and perform basic commissioning and system diagnostics.

• Document changes and provide information for as-built documentation.

What's Needed?

• Demonstrated technical aptitude.

• Able to use hand and power tools (i.e., drills, saws, etc.).

• Basic computer skills required.

• Attention to detail.

• Good communication and listening skills.
