Controls Professional Engineer - Selectek : Job Details

Our client is seeking a full-time Controls Professional Engineer in Lewisville, TX, to design electrical automation and control systems that meet customer objectives while adhering to codes, industry standards, and specifications.Job Responsibilities:- Collaborate with clients and engineering firms to gather design requirements.- Conduct site visits to verify drawings and assess obstacles.- Work with Designers to create site plans and preliminary designs for cost estimates.- Oversee Engineers-In-Training and Designers and certify drawings.- Propose equipment options and evaluate vendors.- Develop network topologies and design control panels.- Resolve conflicts with clients regarding safety and change orders.- Manage 4 to 5 projects simultaneously.- Sign and seal customer deliverables.Required Qualifications:- 5 years' experience in designing control panels- Professional Engineering License- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant engineering discipline or equivalent industrial controls experience- Proficiency in PLC programming using Allen Bradley RSLogix or other PLC software- Expert knowledge of PLC logic and controls, and working knowledge of HMIs- Experience with complex integrated systems- Advanced skills in MS Office, AutoCAD, and VisioPreferred Qualifications:- 7 years of experience in automation and controls
