Controls Engineer - Corning : Job Details

Support other engineering technicians, establish, sets technical direction, and ensures compliance with plant standards. The primary responsibility will be to support control systems throughout the plant. Maintain functionality of controls through coordination with maintenance and operations. Develop and maintain documentation on control systems throughout the departments. Responsible for designing, developing, integrating, troubleshooting, and debugging. Thoroughly follow structured Software Development practices to ensure fast and efficient systems completion. Provide training for engineers and technicians as needed for new processes, equipment, or control systems. Provide weekend and evening support as necessary to support 24/7 operations. Project focus will be on receiving, developing and supporting new assets. Ensure that the equipment meets plant/industry standards and utilizes leading edge technology and process capability to gain competitive advantage.
