Typical Responsibilities

Daily Tasks:

Review customer specifications and drawings

Design switchgear and controls using AutoCAD Electrical or EPLAN

Experience Required:

8+ years of experience

Bachelor's in Electrical Engineering or Electrical Technology preferred

Master's in Electrical Engineering considered with 5+ years' experience

Candidates without a degree must have 10+ years of relevant experience

Technical Skills

Required:

AutoCAD Electrical or EPLAN

Electrical drawing interpretation

Switchgear design (low/medium voltage)

Understanding of protective relays, PLC/SCADA, NEC/UL/ANSI standards

Generator controls knowledge

Desired:

Experience with generator sets and multi-generator utility control
