Controls Engineer - Tenneco : Job Details

Provide training and prepare new programming related to PLC and HMI equipment. Participate on project teams and provide subject matter expertise as appropriate. Provide in-house programming or programming review of outsourced programs, safety interlock review and testing requirements, instrument loop checks. Documentation relating to control and instrumentation type projects, drawing review of electrical wiring schematics including electrical loop drawings for projects. Assist in the development of standards and procedures related to process control for software, hardware including software back-ups of new and existing control systems and their interfaces. Document procedures for changes and archiving of existing or new programming and coordinating between in-house and outsourced workloads to ensure existing system integrity. Prepare programming examples and assist engineering in maintaining up to date P&ID standards.
