Job #: 204479 Title: Controls Engineer Location: Fulton, NY Salary Range: $100,000 to $125,000/year Position: Engineer Description: Description Global leader in the design, development and distribution of extrusion and converting technology. Our systems encompass over 11 product lines to support manufacturing applications and customers in a wide variety of industries, including automotive, building & construction, consumer products, medical, and packaging. RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Design control systems for continuous web handling machinery to the sold specifications
• Will work on design/drafting related tasks with the guidance of a Sr. or Staff Project Engineer
• Assist designers in the generation of BOM's (Bill of Materials)
• May oversee the work of other design engineers and work with other members of the engineering staff to ensure that production is completed in a timely manner
• Provide backup support for assembly, purchasing and field-service related questions and problems
• Participate in Project Team meetings for contract and project design review
• Travel up to 10% for customer visits, vendor meetings, and start-up/commissioning as required.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Controls and Electrical Engineering Manager
• Awareness of ISO 9001:2015, ISO 14001:2015, EHS&S programs

SKILLS/REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor of Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, or controls related 4-yr degree
• 3-7 years of controls and electrical systems design experience with industrial automation or automated machinery preferred
• Control System design including electrical schematics and wiring diagrams, control panel layouts, BOMs, test plans, manuals, etc.
• Experience with high-speed servo applications and variable frequency drives (VFD's)
• Knowledge of Allen Bradley and/or Siemens PLC's required
• HMI programming experience using applications including RSView ME/SE or Wonderware.
• Familiarity with SCADA systems and their requirements
• Proficiency in AutoCAD
• Proficiency in utilizing Microsoft Office products
• Written and verbal communication skills required

• Salary Range : $100,000 USD to $125,000 USD
