Controls Engineer – Siemens PLC ExpertLocation:  Pell City, ALJob Type:  Direct HireSalary Range:  $120,000 – $125,000/yearStart Date:  ASAPHours:  Monday – Friday | 7:00 AM – 4:30 PM CSTWork Location:  Onsite only (no remote or hybrid)Position Summary:Selectek is seeking a Controls Engineer  with extensive experience in Siemens S7-300 and S7-1500 PLC programming. This is a direct hire  opportunity with a manufacturing company near Birmingham, AL. The ideal candidate will be responsible for capital project execution, PLC conversions, panel design, startup/commissioning, and ongoing control system modifications.Must-Have Qualifications:Extensive hands-on experience with Siemens S7-300 and S7-1500 PLC programmingProficiency with Simatic Manager and TIA Portal (V15.1 – V18)Capital project experience and working knowledge of NEC and NFPA codesAutoCAD 2016  experience (specifically for panel design)Background in a fast-paced manufacturing  environmentStartup and commissioning of machines and control systemsAbility to read and interpret electrical schematicsExperience with VFDs (Variable Frequency Drives)Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent years of experienceStrong verbal and written communication skillsSelf-starter who thrives in a collaborative, small-team environmentNice-to-Have:HMI development experiencePrevious work converting S7-300 to S7-1500Experience traveling to support remote sites (minimal travel to Pittsburgh ~10%)Compensation & Benefits:Salary: $120,000 – $125,000/yearBonus:  Up to 15@1(k) Match:  4.5%Vacation & PTO:  Available Day One$500 annual PID lifestyle benefitStock option planCompany-paid life & disability insuranceRelocation assistance available  (dependent on location, number of people, and rental/ownership status)Other Details:Work from Home/Remote:  No (on-site only)Overtime:  Not expectedTravel:  ~10% (mainly to Pittsburgh plant)Company Culture:  Small company feel, part of a large corporation – culture fit is criticalVisa Sponsorship:  Not available (No OPT/CPT)For consideration, please contact Hannah McCormick at [email protected] or 678.###.####.
