Vice President, Product Controllers with Goldman Sachs & Co. LLC in New York, New York. Oversees daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly profit and loss analyses, controls over the US Interest Rate Volatility trading desk, including reconciliations between front-office and back-end systems. Performs ongoing price verification procedures to ensure appropriate valuation of firm inventory of a highly complex business, including monitoring derivative pricing models and valuation adjustment inputs vs. external market data. Monitors the team's review process of new trades and new business activities to ensure proper valuation and accounting treatment. Collaborates with the Financial Reporting team on validation of inputs in disclosures for the firm's external 10Q and 10K filings. Participates in strategic projects to enhance collaboration and automate processes. Handles ad-hoc requests across divisions and departments.

Bachelor's degree (U.S. or foreign equivalent) in Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, Finance, or related field, with five (5) years of experience in a similar role. Experience must include working within financial and capital markets, including banks and hedge funds; valuation of derivative products across interest rate, currencies, and credit; analytical review of account performance using Greeks (Delta, Vega); liaising with stakeholders supporting controllers, operations, credit, and currency trading desks. Additionally, at least two (2) years of experience analyzing US GAAP accounting, financial statements, and regulatory reporting are required.

Annual base salary for this position in New York, NY, is $143,000 - $238,000.
