Alliance Resource Group is partnered with a high-growth, founder-led health & wellness company in their search for a Controller.

This will be the first accounting person in the organization!

This role is primarily remote, with occasional in-office meetings requested only 1-2 times per month.

About the Role:

This is a hands-on Controller opportunity at a pivotal moment. You'll:

• Transition the company from cash to accrual accounting
• Stand up the chart of accounts, COGS, inventory, and revenue recognition
• Lead the first-ever PCAOB-level audit
• Own QuickBooks cleanup (eventual NetSuite migration)
• Book entries, review AP, and build scalable processes

You'll work closely with a supportive CFO who's ready to mentor the right person, someone who's excited to solve messy problems and help scale a modern CPG brand.

Ideal Background:

• CPA or audit foundation required
• Consumer products, food/beverage, or apparel industry experience
• Comfort with chargebacks, slotting fees, and wholesale/D2C models
• Bonus points for Shopify, Amazon, and TikTok ad experience
