Cherry Crest Adventure Farm is seeking a hands-on and strategic Controller to join the collaborative team. In partnership with the CFO, the Controller will play a key role in advancing the farm's accounting, financial management, and overall financial strategy. Both tactical and strategic, the Controller will oversee and perform core accounting functions while also implementing systems and processes to streamline operations and strengthen organizational performance. Responsibilities include producing accurate and timely monthly financial statements and reports, managing accounts receivable and accounts payable, and ensuring the daily accounting operations run smoothly. In addition, the Controller will leverage financial data to inform decision-making across all business unitssupporting budgeting, costing, KPI tracking, and monitoring the financial health of the organization. Success in this role requires not only technical excellence but also the ability to build strong relationships across departments and serve as a trusted partner in a team-oriented environment. Controller Position Qualifications: - Minimum of 5 years of demonstrated success in an accounting / finance role, required - Demonstrated proficiency with technology, specifically QuickBooks and Excel, required; Aptitude for utilizing and employing technology for efficiency, essential - Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or related field, or equivalent experience, required - Excellent verbal & written communication skills - Demonstrated community involvement, strongly preferred Please submit resume and cover letter: www.NorthGroup Consultants.com/jobs
