Controller – Aerospace Manufacturing Location: Greater Columbus, MS Salary: $95K–$120K (DOE) | Full-time, Exempt Our aerospace client is a fast-growing, high-momentum manufacturer serving the defense sector. They design and build custom aerospace and defense technologies for mission-critical projects and are looking for a Controller who can lead finance in a dynamic, growth-focused environment. What You'll Do: Lead budgeting, forecasting, and all accounting operations. Oversee month-end/year-end close and ensure GAAP, FAR, and CAS compliance. Provide cost accounting and pricing expertise for government projects. Partner with operations, engineering, and procurement to align financial goals with project outcomes. Manage cash flow, financial risk, and internal controls. Build and mentor a high-performing finance team. What We're Looking For: CPA with 10+ years in aerospace, defense, or manufacturing finance. Proven experience in cost accounting and government contract pricing. Background in custom manufacturing environments. Comfortable on the manufacturing floor, at the computer, or in the boardroom. Strong leadership, analytical, and communication skills. MBA and SAP/ERP experience a plus.
