• Manage and drive the month-end close, including revenue, payroll, and expense accruals
• Review and adjust journal entries to ensure accurate financials
• Oversee cash reconciliations, compliance filings (e.g., sales tax, annual registrations), and location-level reporting
• Strengthen balance sheet reconciliations and overall ledger accuracy

Systems & Process Improvement

• Maintain and optimize ERP workflows (NetSuite preferred, Sage Intacct or similar acceptable)
• Supervise AP and procurement processes, including weekly vendor payments (via tools like Stampli)
• Introduce automation and best practices to streamline accounting operations

Strategic & Cross-Functional Support

• Collaborate with finance leadership on cash flow forecasting and planning
• Act as a finance liaison to internal stakeholders including operations, HR, and leadership teams
• Deliver accurate, timely financial data to support decision-making

Team Leadership

• Lead and develop a team of two Senior Accountants
• Oversee AP/procurement staff to ensure timely and accurate vendor transactions

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Controller or Assistant Controller, ideally in a healthcare, multi-unit, or services setting
• Strong ERP experience (NetSuite or Sage Intacct preferred); exposure to reporting tools like Power BI is a plus
• Comfort with hands-on work and resolving historical accounting issues
• Knowledge of AP tools (Stampli experience is a plus)
• Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills
• CPA preferred but not required
