Controller – First Accounting Hire | High-Growth Healthtech StartupAre you ready to take ownership of the accounting function at a mission-driven, fast-scaling startup that's transforming how older adults access healthcare? • Serve as the first accounting hire, responsible for building systems, processes, and policies from scratch
• Own all aspects of accounting operations, including general ledger, month-end close, AP/AR, and financial reporting
• Implement scalable financial controls and accounting infrastructure to support growth
• Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure accuracy in revenue recognition and operational spend
• Prepare internal and external financial statements and partner on audit readiness
• Support the CFO with budgeting, forecasting, board reporting, and investor relations

What You Bring

• 7+ years of progressive accounting experience; mix of public accounting and startup or tech company experience preferred
• CPA strongly preferred
• Strong understanding of GAAP and experience preparing financial statements
• A builder's mindset—you enjoy creating structure, systems, and clarity in fast-moving environments
• Excellent communication skills and comfort working cross-functionally
• Mission-driven with a desire to work at the intersection of healthcare and technology
