Job Description :

P&L General Contractors, Inc. in Oak Harbor, WA, is seeking a Controller. The pay range is provided by the company and depends on skills and experience, with a base pay from $84,000 to $125,000 per year, plus annual bonus.

Job Purpose:

Maintain financial records by establishing accounts and posting transactions. Oversee Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Payroll, and reporting processes.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop systems for financial transactions, including chart of accounts and bookkeeping policies.
  • Verify, allocate, and post transactions to subsidiary accounts.
  • Reconcile subsidiary accounts and balance the general ledger.
  • Prepare financial reports, analyze account information and trends.
  • Ensure compliance with legal requirements and advise management on necessary actions.
  • Maintain historical records and file documents.
  • Contribute to team efforts as needed.
    • Skills and Qualifications:

    Developing standards, analyzing information, dealing with complexity, reporting research results, data entry skills, accounting knowledge, SFAS rules, attention to detail, confidentiality, thoroughness. Familiarity with construction job cost accounting is desired.
