As a Control Systems Engineer, you'll lead efforts in automation, electrical instrumentation, and systems reliability, ensuring seamless integration with process teams and critical infrastructure. You'll collaborate closely with technicians, vendors, and leadership to enhance plant performance, drive continuous improvement, and uphold the highest safety and quality standards. Salary: $115,000/yr. Schedule: Monday - Thursday, 10-hour shifts Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee instrumentation and control (I&C) systems for optimal performance, reliability, and safety
  • Diagnose faults, propose improvements, and lead the implementation of best practices in system design and maintenance
  • Support and maintain Distributed Control Systems (DCS), PLCs (Siemens and Allen Bradley), and other automation platforms
  • Lead capital project initiatives related to I&C systems, ensuring alignment with industry standards and operational goals
  • Maintain compliance with OSHA regulations and company safety protocols, including participation in audits and inspections
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement performance monitoring tools, identify spare parts requirements, and drive process enhancements
Qualifications:
  • 4+ years of experience in I&C or control systems engineering within chemical manufacturing or related industries (2+ years with engineering degree)
  • Proven knowledge of DCS (Delta V preferred), loop controls, motor circuits, AC/DC drives, and process instrumentation
  • Strong troubleshooting abilities with experience in RCFA and FMEA methodologies
  • Familiarity with CMMS systems, Microsoft Office Suite, and regulatory compliance standards
  • Experience managing contractors and vendors, and contributing to design, construction, and commissioning projects
  • Proactive mindset with excellent organizational, analytical, and communication skills
