Controls Engineer

We are seeking a Controls Engineer in Georgetown, KY to support and optimize automation systems in our automotive seating production. The Controls Engineer role plays a key part in driving operational efficiency, troubleshooting system issues, and supporting continuous improvement in a high-paced manufacturing environment

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Troubleshoot and maintain PLC systems
• Support automated equipment including sensors, HMIs, servo drives, and pneumatic circuits.
• Maintain documentation and backups of machine control programs.
• Diagnose issues in hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical systems.
• Implement error-proofing and data collection systems.
• Collaborate on continuous improvement and root-cause analysis initiatives.
• Review equipment control drawings and contribute to specifications.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's in Electrical Engineering or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 2–3 years in manufacturing with PLC programming focus.
• Strong proficiency with Allen-Bradley PLCs is required; experience with additional PLC platforms is a plus.
• Automotive and Just-In-Time (JIT) experience is highly preferred.
• Ability to work on 2nd shift (Monday – Friday, 4:30pm – 2:30am).
