Job Title:- Controls Engineer

Duration:- 12- Months- position (May go Longer)

Location:- Bowling Green, KY, United States

Shift:- 1st Shift Mon-Fri. Will need to be able to work overtime, weekends, and/or off shifts occasionally when project deliverables require it. 1st shift: 6:30am-2:30pm

Job Description –

• Lead development and implementation of automation projects
• Collaborative robots
• AMRs (Autonomous Mobile Robots)
• Vision Systems

• Providing daily support for production with a focus on safety, quality, and uptime.
• Troubleshooting and resolving equipment/process failures.
• Supervising skilled trades personnel when needed.
• Ensuring compliance with safety and controls standards.
• Managing documentation and developing maintenance SOPs.
• Participating in downtime planning and launch activities.
• Collaborating with other engineers and maintenance teams for knowledge transfer.

Degrees or certifications required

Bachelor's degree in any Engineering. Open to candidates with a two-year degree that focuses on the newer side of Robotics. More focused on if their education helped them with Robotics Engineering.

Years of experience required

Looking for at least 3 years

Top 3 must-have hard skills

1 PLC Programming and Troubleshooting

2 Robotics Integration (especially Collaborative Robots)

3 Vision System Implementation
