Contract Manager | Hybrid in Chantilly OR Arlington Virginia Responsibilities

  • Respond to complex inquiries regarding contract obligations and revisions.
  • Identify risks and issues, suggest alternatives that lead to the best solution.
  • Review and manage contractual obligations of the parties, ensuring continual review to meet all terms and conditions.
  • Prepare and disseminate information regarding proposals, contract status, compliance, and modifications.
  • Manage contracts day-to-day by advising on strategic direction, contract interpretation, and consequences of action or inaction.
  • Proactively resolve issues and disputes, minimize potential for litigation, and foster protection of reputation.
  • Act as a liaison between the client, project team, business unit, and Legal, ensuring all legal and contractual matters are addressed.
  • Implement Contract Management processes.
  • Inform the project team of contract requirements and monitor compliance.
  • Develop and integrate contract management tools, templates, methods, and processes for engagement.
  • Achieve a reasonable level of understanding of major business areas (System Integration and/or Outsourcing) to communicate effectively with project Executives.
  • Provide training to Contract Management or program personnel if necessary.
Essential Skills
  • Contracts administration
  • Knowledge of DFAR/FAR
  • Federal Contracts
  • 7 to 10+ years of Federal Contracts with a DOD or DOE TS/SCI
  • DOD or Intel cradle-to-grave contracts experience
  • Top Secret clearance
Additional Skills & Qualifications
  • 7 years of Contract Management experience including negotiations
  • 4 years of experience in a government contracting environment
  • Experience managing in a fast-paced workload environment
Work Environment The position offers a hybrid work environment, requiring in-person attendance twice a week at a SCIF. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $57.69 - $76.44/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
