This position's primary responsibilities include overseeing the preparation and management of contracts outside provider service provision contracts and professional services contracts. This role will provide oversight to the team that monitors contracts to ensure compliance and to measure Key Performance Indicators (KPIs). This role ensures all contracts comply with legal requirements and organizational policies, mitigate risks, and are executed in the organization's best interests. Additionally, the Contracts Director will oversee a contract team's professional development by providing ongoing supervision, lead with goal development, and conducting performance evaluations.On a Typical Day, You Might
- Draft, review, and revise contracts.
- Ensure contracts comply with legal requirements, industry regulations, and organizational policies.
- Work cross-functionally with other departments to gather necessary information and approvals.
- Liaise with providers and external parties to negotiate and finalize contracts.
- Ensure NCDHHS deliverables and reports are submitted within the designated timeline.
- Identify potential risks in contract terms and conditions, escalating to management when necessary.
- Develop strategies to mitigate risks and ensure contract compliance.

QualificationsEducation:Bachelor's degree in business administration or human services.Preferred EducationMaster's degree in business administration, Law, Finance, or Human Services preferred.ExperienceThree (3) years of experience working in a behavioral/mental health care setting or in contract management, negotiation, and administration experience.Preferred ExperienceSupervision of two (2) or more employees preferred.License/CertificationMust have a valid driver's licensePreferred License/CertificationProject Management Professional (PMP), National Contract Management Association (NCMA), Lean Six Sigma Certification preferred.Location:Remote within North Carolina.Must reside in North Carolina to be considered for remote status.Deadline for application: July 18, 2025@11:59pmRequiredTo be considered for employment, all candidates are required to submit an application through ADP and upload a current resume.
